Community FAQ
What is The AfterDraw Community?
The AfterDraw Community is a place where members can create personal profiles, share research, post pictures, express their thoughts, follow other members, and rate content. Every member gets their own personal wall.
Who can create a profile?
Every registered member, including Free, Standard, and Premium members, automatically receives a profile.
What is a screen name?
Your screen name is the name other members see when visiting your profile or viewing your posts. Every member receives a randomly generated screen name when their account is created, such as User_48271935. You can replace it with your own unique screen name in your profile settings.
Can I change my screen name?
Yes. You can change your screen name without losing your posts, followers, badges, or ratings.
Can Free members participate?
Free members can create profiles, publish content on their own walls, and browse the member directory. Viewing other members' posts, following, reacting, and submitting star ratings requires an active Standard or Premium membership.
Who can see my posts?
Your posts are visible to you and other members with active paid memberships. Free members cannot view other people's wall posts. Posts are not publicly accessible to visitors who aren't signed in.
What can I post?
You can share research, historical observations, number-related discussions, everyday thoughts, questions, and pictures. Each post can contain text and up to two pictures. Video uploads are not supported. Please keep content respectful and follow community guidelines.
Can other members comment on my posts?
Active Premium members can comment on posts they are allowed to view, when Allow Premium Comments is on for that post. Free and Standard members cannot start a new comment. Private messaging is still not available.
Who can reply to a comment?
Active Premium members can reply to comments on posts they are allowed to view. Free and Standard members can only reply to a comment made by a Premium member on their own post. They cannot reply on anyone else's posts. The original poster can respond to a Premium comment no matter their membership level. A Reply button is shown only when you are allowed to reply.
Can I turn Premium comments off?
Yes. Each post has Allow Premium Comments. Turn it off to stop new comments and replies on that post. You can turn it back on. This is checked on the server, not only in the page.
Can Free members see comments on their posts?
Yes. Free members can see Premium comments on their own posts, and they can reply to those Premium comments. They still cannot view other members' walls or comment on anyone else's posts.
What do the reactions mean?
There are three reactions. Like means you appreciate the post. Heart means you especially enjoy or support the post. Question Mark means you have a question or would like clarification. Reactions are separate from star ratings.
How do I follow someone?
Visit a member's profile and select Follow. You can view profiles you follow under the Following section. Following does not give anyone access to content their membership doesn't already allow them to view.
How do star ratings work?
Active paying members can rate individual posts from 1 to 5 stars. You can rate a post once per calendar month and change your rating during that month. You cannot rate your own posts. A member's monthly average is calculated from the ratings received on their posts during that month.
Are star ratings anonymous?
Yes. Other members, including the person receiving the rating, cannot see who submitted it.
When do star ratings reset?
Star ratings reset on the first day of each month at midnight Central Time. Every month begins with a fresh rating period. Posts, followers, reactions, and badges do not reset.
What happens to my previous ratings?
Your previous ratings are saved. They remain available in your Past Ratings history.
What is Past Ratings?
Past Ratings is a link found on member profiles. It allows you to view monthly rating averages and total rating counts, organized by month and year. Active paying members can view any member's Past Ratings history. Individual reviewers remain anonymous.
What does Not Yet Rated mean?
It means no star ratings have been received during the current monthly rating period. It does not mean you received a zero-star rating.
What is the Newbie badge?
Newbie is the first badge awarded automatically to every registered member. Everyone starts with the same badge, regardless of membership level.
How do I earn more badges?
Additional badges and rewards are planned for a future update. Monthly ratings and community participation may eventually contribute to badge advancement. For now, everyone starts with Newbie, and no additional rewards are being awarded.
Can I delete or edit my posts?
Yes. You can edit or delete posts you've created on your personal wall. You cannot edit another member's posts.
Can I report inappropriate content?
Yes. Use the Report option on a post or in live chat to flag inappropriate content for review. Members may also block other members.
What happens to live chat messages?
Live chat is for active Standard and Premium members. Each message disappears from the member room 48 hours after it is sent. A private copy is kept for moderation, including messages that were deleted or have expired from the live room. Members cannot see that archive.
Can I see who rated my posts?
No. Star ratings are anonymous. You can see rating averages and counts, but not the identities of reviewers.
Do star ratings guarantee research accuracy?
No. Ratings reflect community opinions about posts. They do not verify research accuracy, predict future results, or guarantee outcomes. All lottery-related research is for informational and entertainment purposes only (18+).
How does the leaderboard work?
Each month, members can anonymously rate other members' posts from 1 to 5 stars. The Top 10 uses both the average and how many ratings were received, so one perfect score does not beat a larger set of strong ratings. A member needs ratings on at least two posts to appear. Past months stay saved. This does not award points or prizes.
